So, Everyday Alchemy took some unexpected turns as I followed my impulsive creative flow. I'd say one path is almost entirely finished (save for some polishing/editing) so now there's just the task of writing all the rest of the possible branches.
My idea for that, too, has evolved over these past few days: initially I thought the witch/wizard selector would be little more than a pronoun switcher. But now I'm thinking why not make it a distinctly different story, with its own totally different outcomes?
Main focus right now is implementing a new feature I thought of: an ending image generator. It's actually already working, in fact (after several hours of tinkering, lol). It was kind of a throw-away idea, but the more I pondered it the more it felt like a very sweet little way of thanking whoever puts in the time to read Everyday Alchemy, and to acknowledge all the choices they made along the way (since the image will be assembled piece-by-piece based on them).
Like something I wrote?
